From an administrative standpoint, Pozuelo de Alarcón is divided into two districts:
District I, which is urban (Pozuelo Centro and Pozuelo Estación) and comprises the geographical area within the area defined by the M-40 and M-503 highways.
District II comprises the geographical area located outside the aforementioned roads up to the municipal boundary.
In terms of property types, Pozuelo offers a wide range of options. Here you’ll find villas (detached, semi-detached, or terraced), as well as apartments, ground-floor units with gardens, and duplexes, making it a city that caters to every need and preference.
There is a growing demand for housing in Pozuelo de Alarcón, as its charming residential developments are true oases of peace with numerous beautiful gardens, offering a high degree of privacy and top-notch security. Some of these luxurious developments include La Finca, Monteclaro, Monte Alina, Prado Largo, Somosaguas, Montecillo, La Cabaña, Álamos de Bulara, Las Encinas, and Colonia de los Ángeles.
La Finca
La Finca is located in the northwest of Madrid, with access via the M-40 and the M-502 highways. It borders Casa de Campo, Montepríncipe, and the Somosaguas residential area. The best way to reach this impressive gated community is by private vehicle, although public transportation is also available.
The community has three access control points and high security measures, including motion sensors and cameras at every corner, barriers at all entrances, security personnel, and a control room monitoring all activity. Non-residents wishing to access the community can only do so with the invitation of a resident.
La Finca originated with the purchase of a pine forest located next to the Somosaguas residential area. In the late 1980s, businessman Luis García de Cereceda bought this pine forest, whose land was designated by the city council as sports land for the construction of a golf course. Years later, in 2000, the businessman sold approximately 100 hectares to the real estate companies Parquesol and Nuevo Mundo, who subsequently developed the land for residential use, transforming it into a luxury development.
Today, the exclusive La Finca development is the jewel of Pozuelo de Alarcón. Thanks to its exceptional privacy, it has become the residence of many celebrities. Other advantages of living in La Finca include its proximity to Madrid, its extensive green spaces, and its homes with avant-garde architecture that lack nothing such attention to detail.
The La Finca residential development is divided into three areas, the most exclusive and luxurious of which is Los Lagos I, featuring artificial lakes, expansive green spaces, and impressive, high-value villas. The second area is Los Lagos II, located to the east, where you’ll find semi-detached and terraced houses at lower prices than in Los Lagos I. Finally, there’s the Prado Largo area, which includes apartment buildings, duplexes, and penthouses, and is the most affordable area of La Finca.
Outside the residential area lies the La Finca Business Park, comprised of modern buildings and headquarters for companies such as Microsoft, Orange, Accenture, and Procisa (which owns the development), among others. Here you’ll also find the restaurants UZalacain (Catering and Events) and Natural Lunch La Finca, the modern and impressive 25,000 m² David Lloyd gym, and the AC Hotel by Marriott La Finca.
Across the road, residents can enjoy a relaxing day of shopping in the exclusive boutiques of the El Zoco de Pozuelo shopping center or indulge in unexpected culinary experiences at restaurants like Urrechu or El Zoquete.
In spring 2023, this magnificent development promises to become Madrid’s new gastronomic mecca thanks to its innovative shopping center featuring fourteen restaurants with floating terraces that offer diners the opportunity to dine in the middle of a lake. This unique enclave, La Finca Grand Café, will be located in the northwest and aims to provide new experiences for customers. All establishments will feature large windows and enormous terraces that will allow guests to enjoy breathtaking views of the new Los Lagos golf course (which will be the largest urban golf course in Spain and will have 18 holes).
In this area, outside the shopping center, David Muñoz’s new restaurant, DiverXO, will open its doors in 2024. With seating for 40 diners in a 1,900 m² space, it will be an incredible venue where guests can savor the exquisite culinary creations of the world’s best chef.
Thanks to its exceptional quality of life, security, and privacy, La Finca is home to many footballers, including Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Pablo Simeone, Kaká, and Fernando Torres, as well as other celebrities such as Alejandro Sanz and Luis Alfonso de Borbón.
Besides being a wonderful place to live, La Finca, along with other residential developments in Pozuelo de Alarcón, also represents a great investment opportunity in prime properties.
We invite you to discover the beautiful La Finca development and find your dream home here.
